Niagara College’s Commercial Cannabis Production program was featured on CBC News national’s On the Money show on September 25 – and NC’s Broadcasting students helped behind the scenes as well.

Al Unwin, associate dean of NC’s School of  Environmental and Horticultural Studies spoke about the College’s plans for the newly announced program in an interview segment with Peter Armstrong. View it here.

For students in NC’s Broadcasting: Radio, Television and Film program, the media interview offered an experiential learning opportunity. Second-year TV Production students and faculty worked with the production crew at On The Money to ensure a smooth broadcast to the show’s headquarters in Toronto from the College’s Welland Campus.
