Niagara College’s signature Be World Ready program is now accepting applications for upcoming international field studies (IFS).

Ranging in duration from ten days to three weeks, IFS trips are for the adventurous at heart providing participants an opportunity to explore culturally diverse learning environments and international perspectives through education and exchange. Western comforts of hot showers and electricity are not guaranteed!

Open international field study opportunities include:

Los Cacaos, Dominican Republic –  Oct 22, 2017 to Oct 29, 2017

Peru – Feb 24, 2018 to Mar 4, 2018

Guatemala – Feb 24, 2018 to Mar 4, 2018

Since its inception in 2010, the Be World Ready program has engaged over 1000 staff and students in international learning activities abroad. Participating students are eligible to receive the $500 Be World Ready travel grant and general elective course credits through an independent study. International field study offerings are expected to increase as NC implements its new strategic plan which aims to expand intercultural and international study and work opportunities.
