Class is in session at NC for new GE employees

The first cohort of 10 new employees at GE’s “Brilliant Factory” in Welland began new employee training at Niagara College on August 8.

Niagara College has partnered with GE to deliver an eight-week technology skills program that will develop manufacturing skills and cover fundamental principles and practices for machining, tooling, motive power and engineering drafting. In the photo above, technology professor Sergio Borghesi delivers the group’s first class in the program.
