Niagara College will welcome hundreds of guests to its Teaching Winery on June 17 as proud host of the Niagara Homegrown Wine Festival’s premium event: the TD Tailgate Party.
The TD Tailgate Party is the anchor event for this year’s festival – a unique celebration of the region’s homegrown assets. It will feature more than 35 Niagara wineries – including the NC Teaching Winery – uncorking their seasonal best as well as top 10 local chefs – including NC’s own Benchmark chef manager Alex White – who will prepare farm-to-table favourites in the vineyard at the summer solstice celebration.
Guests will welcome the upcoming arrival of summer with award-winning wines, delicious local foods and entertainment at this unique event.
The Niagara Homegrown Wine Festival, which takes place June 17 and 18, offers a spectacular weekend of enlightened wine, food and vineyard experiences, bringing a celebration of the harvest and world-renowned Niagara wines to life.
The NC Teaching Winery will also draw guests throughout the festival weekend as a destination for Discovery Pass holders. Passes are $40 (plus HST) and contain eight culinary experiences redeemable at participating wineries).
