Roberto Dormond Cantu, ambassador of Costa Rica to Canada, visited Niagara College’s Niagara-on-the-Lake Campus on February 7.

The ambassador was joined by Procomer’s consular agent in commercial affairs, Michelle Corriols, for a full-day tour which included stops at the College’s winery, brewery and Benchmark Restaurant. Procomer is a non-governmental agency responsible for the promotion of Costa Rican exports.

Dormond Cantu and Corriols were welcomed by NC president Dan Patterson and members of NC’s International Division with discussions focused on potential partnership opportunities in the areas of student mobility under the College’s Be World Ready model.
