Loan documents will no longer released to students. Funds will be deposited directly into their bank account after their Master Student Financial Assistance Agreement (MSFAA) has been submitted to the Ministry through a Postal Outlet.
For information on funding amounts and when students will receive their funds, students will need to log onto the OSAP website using their OAN number and password.
Students are encouraged to log onto their OSAP application to check the status of their funding and to ensure that all supporting documents have been submitted.
Approximately five to seven days after the start of school (Sept. 5) the Ministry will deposit the first portion of funding into the bank account the student has provided.
For students who have indicated that they want their tuition to be paid through their OSAP, the Ministry will send this portion to the institution and any remaining funds will be deposited into the student’s bank account.
For students who have chosen not to have their tuition sent to the school, the full funding amount will be deposited into their account and they will need to ensure that their outstanding tuition fees are paid.
