Al Unwin announced as chair for School of Environmental and Horticulture Studies

Ben Cecil, dean of NC’s Environment, Media and Technology Division, has announced that Al Unwin has accepted the position of chair for the School of Environmental and Horticultural Studies.

Al’s term commences April 23rd, 2012. Al brings to the position an extensive background in the environmental sector with over 20 years of industry based experience. Al has also been instrumental in the formative stages of many of the current program offerings within our School and has been teaching across most of the program areas in both Horticulture and Environment. He has been a great supporter of the programs over the last eight months where he has served in an Acting capacity.
