The Wellness Watch Committee will be running its fourth annual Employee Friends and Family Skate Day on Monday, February 20.
To take place at the Thorold Community Arena, 70 Front. St. N., from 1-3 p.m. In addition to free skating, the event will also feature activities, snacks, drinks and prizes.
Five free tickets are available per employee. Additional tickets may be purchased at $4 each.
Why is the event held? One of the goals of the Wellness Watch Committee is to increase awareness and participation in healthy living throughout the college community. The committee advocates for a college culture that recognizes the importance of community in the workplace. Sharing a day of skating with families and colleagues is a wonderful opportunity to promote a healthy workplace and work-life balance.
To pick up your tickets, simply visit Marsha Fiorino in room W115 at the Niagara-on-the-Lake campus, the CEPD office in S102 at the Welland Campus, or Tracy LeBlanc in room MM9 at the Maid of the Mist campus.
