Class project turns into job for BBAH grad
A class project proved to be much more for Sarah Lawrence. Just two days after writing her final exam, Lawrence began working as tourism and marketing intern at the Outlet Collection at Niagara in Niagara-on-the-Lake – located just steps away from the College’s NOTL Campus.
Lawrence was introduced to her job through a class research project she was working on during her final year of the program. In my fourth year I was introduced to academic research and with the encouragement and support of Dr. Clark my research project won the Gordon Taylor Future Researchers Award through the Travel and Tourism Research Association – Canada Chapter. Due to this new found passion for research I decided to continue my studies and recently graduated from Bournemouth University with a Master of Tourism Management and Planning.Judy DeSa, 2012
