Overview

The Health Sector Customized Training department delivers education and training to the Health and Wellness sectors to employers to enable them to continue to upgrade their current employees, ensuring that they have the most up to date skills.

Health Sector training includes courses in geriatric assessment, mental health, personal support work, long term care, ISO, and food handling.

Our services are very flexible, we can come to you, you can come to us or we can offer our training to you in a distance education format. There are in-class components, placements and hand-on labs. Training can be a short as a 6 hour seminar to as long as a 60 hour courses.

We help you build and maintain the skills of your employees through customized training that suits your specific needs when and where you want. We can also deliver full certificate programs. We provide training groups form as few as ten to as many as 40.

Our customers include private and public agencies in the Niagara Region as well as in North Bay, Belleville, Sault Ste. Marie, Kingston, Toronto, Guelph, Kitchener Waterloo and London. The knowledge and experience of our teaching staff is our greatest asset.

Corporate Training Services of which the Health Sector Customized Training department is a part, are registered ISO 9001:2000 Standards. In consultation with the employer, we determine the best training, location and time of delivery. We ensure that training meets both your needs and schedule.
