How do I apply for these awards?

Awards listed in the “Awards by School” tab, are organized by school of study. The majority of awards posted here are Foundation Awards which are funded by donors to the Niagara College Foundation. Awards are generally posted in July for students starting or returning to studies in September and in December for students starting studies in January. Awards in the “Spotlight” tab are awards that become available during the academic year and require special attention. External awards are awards offered by 3rd parties; the application process is through them, and not Niagara College.

  1. Use the “Filter Awards” options below to only show the awards that you’d like to see. Awards are displayed in the table below. We strongly urge you to filter by Student Type and then to also filter by School (checking both the School of Study you are enrolled in and the Any School (Non-Program Specific Awards) option to view all awards you may be eligible for.
  2. Fill out and submit the Online Budget Form. You only need to fill out the budget form once, even if you are applying for multiple awards. We suggest that all students fill out and submit the budget form, if it is available; you will automatically be considered for a number of financial need awards.
  3. If an award requires an application form, it will be listed. Print and complete the award’s application form – you must apply to each award separately. If any other documents are required attach these to the application form(s). Photocopies of required documentation are acceptable.
