Centre for Students with Disabilities (CSWD) Accessing Our Services
The Centre for Students with Disabilities (CSWD) provides services for many kinds of disabilities. In order to receive service from our office, you must have a disability and be able to provide us with documentation from your doctor about your condition. Make sure you ask for help from your resource teacher or guidance department, before the end of the school year, in order to get all this information. Early Identification Let us know you are attending! If you are a student with a disability, early self-identification is an important step on your journey to success. Even if your high school or parents called on your behalf we still need you to identify yourself. It is YOUR responsibility to contact us. The earlier you ask for assistance, the more effective we can be in facilitating the appropriate support. We usually meet new students in August to discuss their needs. If you have not heard from our Centre by the last week of August, please contact our office.
