Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act

Training

All Niagara College staff (including student employees) are required to complete training in the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) upon hire. We currently have two online training modules, one to address Customer Service initiatives, and a second module to create awareness regarding the creation of accessible documents. These modules are available on the college portal, and the successful completion of both is a requirement of on-going employment for all staff.

Training Modules
  1. Customer Service – To access this module:
Log into Blackboard, select “My Apps”, and choose “AODA – Customer Service”
  2. Educator Awareness – To access this module:
Log into Blackboard, select “My Apps”, and choose “AODA – Educator Training”

For further assistance on accessing these modules, contact your divisional secretary.
