In collaboration with professional teams in the workplace, you will assist persons with special needs in maintaining or improving their overall functioning and quality of life. You will learn to apply both practical knowledge and demonstrate skills which assist individual with supports of daily living. You will learn mobility specialization and healthy personal habits in order to implement a safe and healthy work environment for you and your clients. You will also explore the roles of the Occupational Therapist (OT), Physiotherapist (PT), Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP), and your role in implementing goal plans under the direction of those professionals.
