Course Title: Foundations of Child & Youth Care IView Course Outline

In this course you will identify a generic framework of human service knowledge and skills that are required for competence when working with children, youth, and families in their unique life space. You will understand the relationship dynamics between family, social service, justice and community systems with regard to advocating for the child or youth. Case studies will be analyzed for skill application and development from a holistic strengths based approach.
