Course Title: Field Placement I - FitnessView Course Outline
Admit Term: 2019 Fall 1194
Through completion of this course, you will complete 90 hours of experience including both on-site field hours and participation in a weekly seminar course. This field placement will provide the opportunity for practical application of your knowledge and skills in the fitness and health industry while working under industry professionals. The weekly seminar will provide support for current field placements. This course will also assist in preparing you for future field placements (PRAC 1420) through developing oral and written communication strategies. Students must successfully complete all 75 hours of placement. Students must submit a Field Placement Intent Form and make contact with the Field Placement Officer to secure a field placement by week 3 of the term the course falls within. Failure to comply may result in removal from the course.
