Statistical techniques are used to assess various measurements of engineering products and processes. In this course you will learn how to summarize univariate and bivariate data by using descriptive statistics and present them using graphical techniques. After studying some basic probability theory, you will apply it to probability distributions. You will then use the normal distribution to develop some useful inferential statistics that will enable you to draw conclusions and make predictions about data.
