In this course you will apply the theoretical principles of plant growing through the planting of annuals and perennials in the greenhouse. You will also learn how to maintain the main tools of the horticultural trade by performing routine maintenance on various tools. You will use the Niagara College greenhouse to explore greenhouse production methods. You will also grow and monitor the development of potted plants in a controlled environment. You will demonstrate safety competence throughout all procedures carried out in this class.
