Description

This course is the first of two levels and is a combination of theory. You will gain an understanding of the structure of the hair unit, different growth cycles and patterns and associated disorders and disease which alter them. You will practice safe and efficient hair removal techniques using hard and soft wax procedures. You will demonstrate proper techniques for controlling, applying and removing wax. You will acknowledge cautions and contra-indications for hair removal services and appreciate the importance of client health screening and consultation. You will practice Ministry recommendations for effective sanitation and sterilization procedures. You will perform hair removal on various body parts which will include pre and post client care suggestions.
