This course focuses on the value of establishing and maintaining positive customer relations through case studies, role-playing, simulations and class discussions. Topics that will be discussed include employer/employee relationships, being a good communicator, and the ability to solve problems using critical thinking. Demonstrating a professional and ethical approach to your job in dealing with customers and fellow workers is expected. Both verbal and written communication skills are important when your position requires work orders and estimates. Your ability to summarize the customer concerns and write these concerns precisely is critical. Customers like to feel that their patronage is important. The interaction you have with the customer, creating an honest and trusting relationship, will ensure repeat business for your company.
