Description

This course is designed to help students become aware of the impact the automobile, service, repair and operation of it have on the environment. Advantages of a well maintained vehicle to the environment and to the safety and longevity of the vehicle will be discussed. The responsibility of the technician to advise customers through well informed discussions will also be discussed. Some products require additional licensing or certification before handling and reasoning for such will be discussed. Others require certified disposal systems. Information relating to these and others will be addressed during classes over viewing WHMIS regulations. Advantages and requirements of maintaining a generally clean, tidy and well organized shop will be discussed.
