There is a growing concern for the safety of people in their work environment and the related hazards that may be found there. Prompted by governments and their agencies, labour and management have identified the need for greater experience, knowledge and expertise in the field of occupational safety and health for the protection of people in the workplace. This Occupational Health and Safety program provides you with solid training in the required practices of occupational safety and health. In addition to providing the fundamentals, the program includes a management component that gives you the know-how to oversee workplace safety programs and offer solutions.
This program prepares graduates for entry level positions in the field of Occupational Health and Safety. Possible career paths include:
- Health and Safety Assistant
- Safety Evaluator
- Occupational Health and Safety Co-ordinator

Students do not apply to our part-time programs. Instead, enrol in and successfully complete each course listed in the Program Delivery section.
