What is it?

Co-Curricular Record (CCR) is an official Niagara College document developed to enhance your resume and career or academic portfolios. By registering for the program, individuals gain recognition for student engagement, leadership and co-curricular activities pursued outside of the classroom.

The Co-curricular Record supports your credentials when applying for jobs, internships, scholarships, awards, continuing education and further development experiences.

How to create a CCR

Approved activities, organizations and events that you sign up for, on the getinvolved.niagaracollege.ca portal, will be automatically populated onto your CCR. Only activities that have been completed fully and validated appear on the Niagara College CCR. Validation of activities must be provided by a Niagara College employee and one that was designated for the activity in which you participated.

It is the student's responsibility to inform the activity/event validator to expect a validation email within the getinvolved portal, regarding their participation n the specific activity. It is up to the student to follow up with the validator should a validation request be delayed or denied for any reason

When a student is ready to submit their CCR for official approval and validation, email getinvolved@niagaracollege.ca with the subject line "Official Approval Requested". Once the CCR is officially validated, the student can request to have the CCR printed. An Official, signed and dated, copy of the CCR can then be picked up from the Student Engagement and Leadership Office.
