  • Courses required to write the National Knowledge Examination (NKE) required for the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation must have an overall average of 70, with no marks below 65.Please note: As of January 1, 2011, CHRP Candidates -those who have passed the NKE - will require a minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university to register for the National Professional Practice Assessment (NPPA) and qualify for the CHRP designation.In some provinces, the degree requirement varies, or additional requirements may be applicable.

Admission Requirements

  • Ontario College Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree, OR an acceptable combination of related work experience and post-secondary education (as determined by the College), AND
  • Proof of English proficiency.

  • Literacy in Microsoft Word and Powerpoint is recommended

Selection and Ranking Process:

  • A test and/or portfolio may be required.

Graduate Certificate Bursary

A $750 bursary is available to eligible students who are enrolled full-time in a Graduate Certificate Program.

When applying for the bursary, you must complete a basic application form detailing your current financial status.

* The field placement is an internship requiring 300 hours practical experience in human resources. This internship is typically completed at the completion of Term Two.
