Career Opportunities

Cabinetmakers are skilled tradespersons in all aspects of cabinet construction. Beginning with initial drafting and layout, to material cutting, assembly, finishing and installation, these skills can be applied to other areas of woodworking, building store fixtures and furniture because they apply the same basic principles.

With the increasing demands of new construction in the housing, advance wood processing industries, and in renovation and modernization of existing structures, the need for cabinet makers is increasing and will continue to do so in the foreseeable future.
