The LearnOntario.ca (http://learnontario.ca/software) portal provides discovery and access to the quality learning tutorials that will help you make the most of your digital literacy skills... over 700 videos available now, and more being added weekly.

 

Research Database Help

Please Note: Your username and password are required for both on and off campus.

To login databases you will need:


STUDENTS:  Will need their Blackboard Login I.D. and Password

 

STAFF: Will need their Network Login I.D. and Password.

 

Please note: Your Blackboard Login I.D. and Password are required for both on and off campus.


Students: When trying to access a database, journal, or journal article students will be prompted to enter their Blackboard Login I.D. and Password to authenticate that you are a valid user.

If you believe you are a valid user but your Blackboard Login I.D and Password are not being accepted by the system, please contact Niagara College Blackboard Student Support  to verify your information.

Faculty/Staff: When trying to access a database, journal, or journal article staff will be prompted to enter their Network Login I.D. and Password to authenticate that you are a valid user.

If your Faculty/Staff  Network Login I.D. and Password are not being accepted by the system, please contact Niagara College Blackboard Faculty/Staff Support  to verify your information.

Please note that under the terms of licensing agreements with our vendors, off-campus access to the Libraries’ research databases is only available to Full-Time Students, Part-Time Students (in at least one credit course), Apprenticeship Students, Adult Training Program Students, Faculty, and Staff.

Plus:

  1. Cookies must be enabled on your Web browser
  2. JavaScript/Scripting must be enabled on your Web browser
  3. Popup blockers must be disabled (that is, you must temporarily allow popups)
  4. As a last resort, you may have to disable any firewalls you have set up

You can change your computer's settings temporarily using the instructions under the links above. Remember to change your settings back when you are finished, particularly settings changed under Disabling Popup Blockers and Disabling Firewalls.
