About This Certificate

The Manufacturing Leadership Certificate Program is designed for individuals working in manufacturing who have recently been promoted to the role of supervisor or for those who would like to assume the role in the future.

The program is also a very useful vehicle for refreshing and/or upgrading the skills of experienced supervisors.

The Manufacturing Leadership Certificate Program (MLCP) is designed by manufacturers for manufacturers, in collaboration with the Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters (CME) and your community colleges - Conestoga, Georgian, Mohawk, Niagara and Sheridan.

Program Delivery

Individual courses are open to all students whether or not they are working toward the certificate.

Prerequisites may be required for these courses. Please refer to individual course descriptions for specific requirements.

Career Opportunities

Possible career paths include: introductory supervisor in a manufacturing setting and other sectors such as retail.

Certificate Benefits

As a participant in the MLCP, you will receive:

Their certification is recognized by the Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters (CME) and Ontario’s community colleges.

Obtaining Your Certificate (Application for Graduation)

Upon completion of all requirements, the student must complete an “Application For Graduation” form available from the Registrar’s Office.

If the student wishes to have their certificate presented to them at convocation ceremony in the Fall, there is a $25 fee.

Application, accompanied by fee (if applicable) must be forwarded to Registration and Records, Office of the Registrar before the application deadline.
