Niagara College has implemented College Practices to ensure consistency in the rules and regulations governing both academic and college life. This web index provides links to the most current versions of the Niagara College practices.
The College Practices are managed by Kim Rose, who acts as the 'gatekeeper' for the purpose of updating, revising and/or adding new practices. Please contact Kim at krose@niagaracollege.ca if there are any improvements that you would like to recommend.

June 27, 2012 -- New practices on Latex and Standing Committee - Program Quality Assurance Committee were approved.
June 22, 2012 -- A new practice on Standing Committee - Sustainability Committee was approved.
June 8, 2012 -- A new practice on Research Involving Human Participants was approved. This practice has combined the 3 practices on Research Ethics Board and Research Ethics Appeal Board, Research Integrity and Research Involving Human Subjects.
February 18, 2012 -- New practices on Alternate Graduation from Co-op Education Programs and Employer Posting Guidelines were approved. The practice on Work Experiences for Niagara College Learners was revised.
February 2, 2012 -- The practice on Curriculum Committees was revised.
January 18, 2012 -- The practice on Faculty Credentials for Bachelor's Degree Teaching was revised.
December 1, 2011 -- The practice on Tuition Subsidy for Dependent Children was revised to reflect changes in legislation.
November 30, 2011 -- The practice on Quality Assurance and Program Review was revised. The practice on Course Evaluation was revised and renamed to Course Feedback.
November 2, 2011 -- The revised practice on Graduation and Promotion Requirements was approved.
