About This Certificate

The Bookkeeping Certificate program is designed for those seeking a career in bookkeeping or an entry level accounting position.

The program is also geared toward recent graduates of post secondary institutions who aim to enhance their existing education with a more practical, “hands-on” learning experience.

This certificate provides you with the opportunity to gain a thorough understanding of bookkeeping procedures and practices and how they are applied in both a manual and computerized environment.


Program Delivery

Individual courses are open to all students whether or not they are working toward the certificate.

Obtaining Your Certificate (Graduation)

Upon completion of all requirements, the student must complete an “application to graduate” form available from the Registrar’s Office. Students will be required to pay a $25 fee to attend the convocation ceremony in the fall.

The fee is payable with the “application to graduate” form. Applications and fees are to be returned to the Registrar’s Office. For more information, contact the Registrar’s Office.
