About This Certificate

Designed specifically for those with no formal accounting training, the Accounting for Managerial Decisions Certificate provides individuals with a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles that are necessary to perform in an accounting environment.

This certificate is ideal for individuals interested in sharpening their accounting skills or wanting to pursue a professional accounting designation.

Individuals who complete the certificate will have completed some of the necessary academic requirements of the Certified General Accountants of Ontario (CGA) designation.

The Accounting of Managerial Decisions Certificate is designed to allow you to complete a coherent grouping of credit courses at the college level as either part of or independent from a full-time diploma program.


Program Delivery

Obtaining Your Certificate (Graduation)

Upon completion of all requirements, the student must complete an “application to graduate” form available from the Registrar’s Office. Students will be required to pay a $25 fee to attend the convocation ceremony in the fall.

The fee is payable with the “application to graduate” form. Applications and fees are to be returned to the Registrar’s Office. For more information, contact the Registrar’s Office.
