Terri Champion joined Niagara College as Professor of Marketing and the Coordinator of the Sales and Marketing Program in September 1995. She is the co-author of several business books including; Canadian Entrepreneurship: Launching and Growing New Ventures 5th & 6th Canadian Editions (Nelson Education Publishers) and MGMT: Management Principles 1st, 2nd & 3rd Canadian Editions (Nelson Education Publishers).
Professor Champion is a part of Niagara College’s Research and Innovation Division, acting as a faculty mentor for the Business and Commercialization team supporting the economic development of business, industry and the community through applied research and course-based research projects. Champion also coaches Niagara College marketing students for provincial and national business competitions as well as organizes the annual Niagara College Marketing Case Competition.
Before joining Niagara College, her professional experience includes positions in sales and marketing at the corporate level in the automotive industry, business management consulting, marketing research, and new venture development training. Terri is a member of the Canadian Professional Sales Association, the Retail Council of Canada and the Ontario Colleges’ Marketing Competition Committee.
