Holly is the Coordinator of the Human Resources programs at Niagara College, Canada and has been a full-time professor for over 12 years at the Niagara-on-the-Lake campus.
Holly is passionate about creating learning experiences for her students that connect them with industry to prepare them for the world of work. For over nine years, she has provided domestic and international course-based research projects connecting students with industry partners. These stretch learning experiences provide students with exposure to real-world problems and solutions. Holly is the faculty advisor for the HR@NC student association and in 2015, Holly was awarded the Educator of the Year Award from the Student Administrative Council.
Holly is actively involved in the local HR community and strives to connect her students with members of the HR profession. As an active member and facilitator of the HRPAN Mentorship program, she is continuously involved in the growth and development of her students and graduates. In 2015, the Human Resources Professional Association of Niagara awarded her the Senior HR Leader Award for Niagara.
Holly is a member of the Caricom Education For Employment project team working with Excelsior Community College, Jamaica. Holly has worked on several international and domestic research initiatives, including the Mulheres Mil Impact Assessment project developing assessment tools with international researchers from Brazil to measure the impact of the Mulheres Mil program, a school-to-work transition program for marginalized women in Brazil.
