Dr. Navjote Khara is the Professor in the School of Business and Management at Niagara College since September 2013. She primarily teaches International Marketing Strategies, International Trade Management, International Research and Principles of Marketing. She has also been working as an Adjunct Professor with the Niagara University in Lewiston, New York.
Navjote has gained her teaching and research experience working in Canada, Denmark, India, and the United States. She has held Visiting Researcher position with Copenhagen Business School (Denmark) as well as Researcher position on a Danish study on the sports goods exports cluster in India, China and Pakistan that studied the linkages between Global Value Chains, Local Clusters and Corporate Social Responsibility.
She has also worked as a researcher with the Institute of Industrial Policy Studies (South Korea) on Global Competitiveness Survey study, and as a National Expert for United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) to study cluster development and corporate social responsibility in football clusters of India and Pakistan. Her work has been published in Business and Society, Competition and Change, Global Networks, European Journal of International Management, and Indian Journal of Marketing.
