Student Representative of the Niagara College Board of Governors
Vineet is a fourth year Business Administration undergraduate student at Niagara College. He is specializing in International Commerce and Global Development. This is Vineet’s second term serving as the Director of Social Programming on the Niagara College Student Administrative Council and a student representative on the Fee Protocol Committee. He has represented Niagara College at various provincial and federal conferences including the Ontario Economic Summit, Ontario’s Centre of Excellence Discovery Conference, The International Economic Forum of the Americas and many more.
Vineet has been an active member of the Niagara Region community since he moved here in 2014. He was the 2016 recipient of the Ontario Volunteer Award, the province’s highest volunteer recognition award. He has worked for the Regional Municipality of Niagara in the Planning and Development department for two consecutive summer terms. Vineet made strong impacts on the inaugural Niagara Employment Inventory project.
He is looking forward to his Board of Governors opportunity and hopes to make significant contributions during the 2017-2018 academic year. Vineet intends to use his gained experience and knowledge to benefit all Niagara College students.
