Esther Lee

Esther is a Human Resources professional with over 25 years’ experience working in several sectors of the hospitality industry.

Esther has worked in the Hotel sector with Hilton International at the Harbour Castle Hilton ( now a Westin), with Canadian Pacific Hotels at the Royal York Hotel and with Vintage Hotels in Niagara-on-the-Lake, a collection of 4-four diamond boutique hotels. In addition, she has worked within the Food Service sector at Cara Operations Limited whose franchises include Swiss Chalet, Harvey’s, and Kelsey’s; within the Gaming sector at Casino Windsor and the Northern Belle Riverboat Casino, the first resort casino operations in Ontario; and most recently as Vice President of Human Resources and Administration with the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. Esther joined the LCBO’s Corporate HR Services Division as an HR Consultant in December 2015.

Esther, who holds a Bachelor of Arts, Sociology, is a graduate of the University of Toronto in Sociology/Personnel Management and has her Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) and Certified Human Resources Executive (CHRE) designation.  She currently is a Volunteer Mentor of the HRPA Toronto Chapter’s Mentorship Program and Secretary of the Senior HR Engagement Committee.

Her non-work related passion is supporting and attending theatre, arts, entertainment and tourism attractions and not for profit agencies. She is a long-term supporter of the Shaw Festival, the McMichael Canadian Art Collection, the Toronto Zoo, the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, the World Wildlife Fund and the United Way of the GTA.
