Niagara College (NC) on Saturday, November 19 will welcome thousands of future students and their families and friends at an open house that will feature a chance for a lucky new student to win $2,000 towards first year tuition.
In addition to the tuition contest, guests of the college will have an opportunity to meet staff and faculty, explore a wide variety of academic displays and demonstrations, tour program labs and classroom facilities, take a campus and residence tour and connect with current students: all part of the NC experience.
“This is an opportunity to meet our students, faculty and staff and learn about Niagara College, its specialized facilities and unique approach to applied education,” said Niagara College president Dan Patterson. “This event is ideal for prospective students looking for a pathway to success.”
The event runs from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Welland and Niagara-on-the-Lake campuses where guests will have access to a wide range of facilities, labs and hands-on demonstrations. Guests – including the general public and all those interested in attending – are invited to visit the academic marketplace, see the special offerings from student services, and explore 100 plus programs. Tours at both campuses run every half-hour, from 10:30 am. – 1 p.m. In addition, there is an information session for parents at both campuses at 11:30 a.m.
No pre-registration is required and parking is free.
