Reality TV star Dan Gheesling to speak at Niagara College March 26

Entrepreneur author coach and winner of the CBS reality TV show Big Brother Dan Gheesling will visit Niagara College’s Welland Campus on Thursday March 26

As part of a ticketed event Gheesling will speak to students and guests about the importance of action-based leadership and motivation. His presentation is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. in the Applied Health Institute auditorium.

The visit was organized by the college’s Student Administrative Council and its Centre for Student Engagement and Leadership. Tickets were sold to college staff and students and a limited number were made available to the public.

“We are very excited to offer this opportunity to the students of Niagara College and it’s been creating a lot of buzz across the college” said Niagara College Student Administrative Council president Shane Malcolm.

“Leadership skills development and getting involved is at the core of what we do so we are looking forward to the students learning from and being inspired by Dan’s presentation on action-based leadership” said Lesley Calvin manager of the college’s Centre for Student Engagement and Leadership.

Following his presentation ticket-holders will have an opportunity to meet Gheesling at a Meet and Greet event at The Core beginning at 8:15 p.m.

Dan Gheesling is a public speaker; entrepreneur author coach and winner of the CBS reality TV show Big Brother.

After two stints on reality TV he was called the “best Big Brother player of all time” and “reality TV’s answer to Dexter Morgan Walter White and Tony Soprano” by the New York Post. When he is not on the road speaking Gheesling enjoys spending time with his family at home in Oakland County Michigan. Some of his hobbies include running tweeting live streaming on and being slightly obsessed with creating video game content on his YouTube channel.
