Prospective students exploring college programs and members of the public contemplating new careers won’t want to miss Niagara College’s Info Fair.
To be held on Wednesday October 22 the annual College Info Fair is a one-stop shop for those interested in researching college programs. More than 2000 visitors are expected to attend this year’s event where they will have an opportunity to discover what Niagara College has to offer as well as colleges throughout the province. Representatives from more than 20 Ontario colleges will be on site.
“Our College Info Fair offers high school students and the public a wonderful opportunity to learn about programs and services and get a taste of college life” said Niagara College president Dan Patterson PhD. “An increasing number of students are turning to colleges as their pathway to success.”
The College Info Fair will feature interactive exhibits and displays from Niagara College’s academic areas. Faculty and students from all program areas will introduce guests to education and training opportunities at the College through a variety of activities and demonstrations. Prospective students can explore college clubs athletics residence student services career services counseling and more.
The event will also include several community partners who will provide information about events and activities students can enjoy in the Niagara region. Partners in attendance will include Twenty Valley Tourism The City of Welland The St. Catharines Downtown Association Haunt Manor The Niagara Outlet Collection The Seaway Mall and the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority.
Niagara College’s 2014 Info Fair will be held on October 22 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Welland Campus Athletic Centre. Parking will be free of charge to visitors at this event.
