Premier's Awards Nominees Announced

Presented annually to six recipients, the Premier's Awards for Ontario College Graduates celebrate the outstanding contributions college graduates make to Ontario and throughout the world. Nominations are submitted from each of Ontario's 24 colleges in six categories: Business, Creative Arts and Design, Community Services, Health Sciences, Technology and Recent Graduate.

New Partnership

A new partnership between PerformanceCars and the Foundation & Alumni Relations department means rebates on car purchases are available to Niagara College graduates, staff, students and retirees. The company offers 15 brands with a model suitable for any time in life. Performance Cars will provide a special NC rebate on all new cars purchased or leased as well as used cars. The amount of the rebate will depend upon the cost of the car.

Griffith University in Queensland, Australia has a formal articulation agreement with Niagara College. Under the terms of this agreement, the students are offered very generous transfer credits should they choose to convert their Diploma to a University Degree. Postgraduate studies are also available for students with Applied degrees.

Building Futures Campaign Update

Niagara College's Building Futures Campaign received a boost recently with $250,000 from the Estate of Amilcare Ramella to establish scholarships for students from Welland in technology programs. The campaign is raising $16.5 million for new facilities, equipment and learning resources, applied research, and scholarships and bursaries. [ Read more ]
