Alumni Chapters

The Niagara College Alumni Council works in partnership with the Niagara College Foundation to advocate for the needs and interests of the alumni community of Niagara College.

We hope that a chapter will provide several benefits for alumni, parents and friends such as:

• Generate a feeling of pride and belonging
• Promote the establishment of a professional and social network
• Promote a better understanding of the various achievements of alumni and the college.

In turn this will help Niagara College by

• Promoting the unique character of Niagara College and support its continuing activities
• Encouraging alumni to stay actively connected with the college and support current students
• Assisting the College to extend its influence with prospective students

Greater Toronto Area Chapter

Niagara College is currently launching a Toronto based Alumni Chapter. An initial focus group session was held in June, 2008 and a small planning team has met regularly to discuss potential chapter activities for the upcoming year.

The Toronto Chapter has organized a series of workshops - WorkSmart, which are exclusive career-oriented experiences designed for young professionals to enhance existing skills and excel in their chosen field thus creating opportunities for career growth or change.
