Learning Meets Enterprise
Among our state-of-the-art facilities are several on-campus “learning enterprises” where students gain the advantage of real-world experience.
Each of these specialized facilities is unique, offering unmatched opportunities for NC students to gain hands-on experience in on-campus enterprises in their field that are open to the public. Money raised from these enterprises goes back to students to help support student learning.
Our trailblazing Canadian Food and Wine Institute at our Niagara-on-the-Lake Campus is not only home to Benchmark, our teaching restaurant; but the NC Teaching Winery, Canada's first and only commercial teaching winery; and the NC Teaching Brewery, also the first of its kind in Canada.
